I see your sources are all from the 20th century. You'd do well to read The Romance of Arthur, edited by James J. Wilhelm. It's an anthology of Arthuriana from the early Latin chronicles through Welsh storytelling, French romances, Lancelot's debut, and on through Malory. Definitely worth reading if you're interested in Arthur, and a closer step to the "real thing" as far as documents go. I wouldn't put much faith in the commentary, though.
